Yonggui Yuan, M.D./Ph.D., Chief Physician, Professor, supervisor of doctoral students. He is selected as Jiangsu Province Outstanding Key Medical Talents, the fifth phase of the "333 Project" second-level training objects of Jiangsu Province. He is also the leader of Jiangsu "science and education enhance health" innovative psychiatric team, Director of Psychology of Zhongda Hospital Southeast University, Member of international Psychosomatic Medicine (ICPM), visiting scholar of the Department of Psychiatry, University of Florida.
He has been engaged in Clinical diagnosis, treatment, and pathogenesis study of major depressive disorder and psychosomatic related disorders; Psychological assessment, and mechanism of psychotherapy research for more than 30 years. He is currently serving as the chairman of the Psychosomatic Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the Chairman-designate for the Psychiatric Branch of the Jiangsu Medical Association, the Chairman of the psychosomatic Medical Professional Committee of Jiangsu Physicians Association, the Former Chairman for the Psychosomatic and Behavioral Medicine Branch of the Jiangsu Provincial Medical Association, and Vice President of Psychiatry Branch of Jiangsu Medical Doctors Association. In 2019, he was awarded the title of "Expert with Outstanding Contribution to Psychosomatic Medicine" by the Psychosomatic Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the title of "Excellent Chairman" by Jiangsu Medical Association. He is the main editor of 25 books. He has published 435 papers, including 204 SCI papers.
